WELCOME
Grounded Student Ministries is a teen-focused ministry at The Church Next Door. The Middle School youth group meets on Tuesdays (6pm) and High School on Wednesdays (6pm.) Here students are encouraged and challenged with applicable lessons from God’s word about growing spiritually and starting or building a relationship with their creator. There is usually a ridiculous game involved, some tasty food, time for worship and a message/lesson from one of the Grounded leaders or students.
Events
We host frequent events such as movie nights, mission trips, community service projects, and concerts. Some of the bands that have dropped by are the likes of Wavorly, Future of Forestry, Everyday Sunday, Though She Wrote, Fever Fever, Phil Joel, Mark Townsend, This Fire’s Embrace, House of Heroes, Jesse Cale, I Am Empire, Children 18:3, Hyland, Love Out Loud, The Wedding, Wolves at the Gate, Anderson Cale, and many, many others.
Youth Band

Not Your Average Youth Group
Grounded is a ministry you just have to experience for yourself. We hold deep convictions that not only the future of our world is in the hands of our students, but the spiritual norms will be calibrated by the faith and convictions of the young people of today. This will not be just a youth group with games and tales from the Bible; we desire to sit at the feet of Jesus, and to love those around us in a real way.
High Energy
We like to have a good time. We study the bible hard, worship deep, pray seriously, and play seriously.
